I would describe myself as BLESSED. I grew up in a military family of five, privileged to live many places around the world. Our move to Kansas in 1975 was my favorite. It led to graduating from KSU with a bachelor's in education and then meeting my husband, Richard, whom I've had the pleasure of being married to since 1992. We have two amazing grown children, Whitney (married to Scott Perlenfein and living in Minnesota, and granddaughter Eleanor born in December of 2023) and Austin (living locally and working in KC). We joined the Methodist church in Burlington in 1996, and have formed many lasting relationships, but most importantly a stronger faith in God. My hobbies include reading, singing, exercising, and helping people. I am grateful that God brought us to Coffey County and to BMC!
